2016 ART DIRECTORS GUILD AWARDS

After 5 seasons of wildly ambitious, cinematic sketches Key & Peele has ended its series run.

During our final season the Production Design was praised in reviews by The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic, Paste Magazine, Vox, Alternet, Variety and more. For a little sketch show on basic cable this is a big deal.

The art department designed, built, decorated and propped approximately four hundred sets on sound stages and locations all over Los Angeles with the goal making each one look like a feature.

There aren't many times in the lifetime of a career where the director, art department, director of photography, costumes, makeup, hair, lighting and locations departments can be this much in synch for so many seasons and I am honored to have been a part of it.

So...with that said...VOTING BEGINS TODAY for the 2015 Art Directors Guild Awards.

If you are a guild member and plan on voting this year please consider Key & Peele.

The euphoria from last years nomination is just now wearing off.
